Marriage Ritual

Visions have plagued you since childhood – a remnant of your family’s gift. Each year, for one week, when the gate to the underworld opens you have dreams of the future, mostly portraying the monsters leaving the gate to wander the human world and wreak havoc. 

But this time something is different – some of those monsters want to stay, fighting back the pull that keeps them chained to the underworld. And your dreams just so happens to show you a way to break that pull. Having an interest in monsters since childhood, you see this as the perfect chance to make one of those monsters stay with you. As your … lover.

 But will you be able to collect all pieces for the ritual and make one of those monsters fall for you? Or will it all be futile, leaving you with nothing after this week’s end?

General: 

The game starts with a tutorial part meant to introduce how to play. It is a point-and-click game, so just your mouse should be enough to play it. 

- Use the map to move to different places 

- Click through dialogue and choose your answers 

- Look for objects in the backgrounds, that can be clicked/interacted with 

- Check inventory for owned items and task notes 

- Go home at night to have dreams with hints 

- Visit home on Saturday night 

- Complete the ritual at the ritual tree on Sunday

Walkthrough:

- Start with the first dream/vision going straight into dialogue with mom 

- Look at orb 

- Go to merchant at market 

- After merchant conversation, go to forest and collect bag with herbs then return home

> From here on out, you can move freely around the map

- Talk to villagers, merchant gives you a knife and an optional task 

- Talk to monster, make them like you 

- Search for ritual items in the backgrounds 

- Get hints about ritual items from dreams at nighttime at home 

- Visit home on Saturday night for the last dream 

- Complete the ritual at the ritual tree on Sunday

 Candles can be found at market, home, graveyard, church; sometimes also during conversations with characters 

Head -> collect head from side road in the forest on days 1-4 or morning of day 5 

Go home on Saturday night to receive final information for ritual
